About
Sami Shah

With advancements in remote sensing, many factors affecting bushfires hazard, are now freely available at much larger spatial and temporal scales. Availability
of these factors and advanced data integration and analysis techniques, such as machine learning algorithms, provide a great opportunity to develop a new bushfire hazard rating system. Sami Shah’s research is looking at the development of a new method to predict bushfire hazard using remote sensing and GIS data using machine learning algorithms.
